I have bad chronic constipation and as i was straining in the bathroom i got a sharp pain in the side of my neck, like a below my ear and slightly towards my jaw. its now a dull pain. i cant like explode a vein or artery from straining right?

Straining is produced by muscles contracting and increasing the intraabdominal pressure. It can involve muscles that you typically do not use. While it can cause temporarily increased blood pressure, it is very unlikely to cause any kind of vein or artery problems. It would be important to determine why you have chronic constipation. Easy lifestyle changes- (increased water, fiber intake)
