I have a lump in the inside of my cheek right at the jaw line. i have had kidney cancer in the past. is this something i need to be worried about?

It is probably: A stone in a salivary duct. But it could be spread of your kidney cancer, however unlikely, hard to tell without looking at it. Go and see a head and neck surgeon, he will be able to tell you what imaging studies you need, and possible biopsy.
