A member asked:

When i stand for any length of time, i find that my hips start feeling numb. what could this be?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It's interesting that the numbness occurs in both hips. Prolonged standing apparently compresses sensory nerves in your hip areas. If this is the only occasion where this numbness occurs & it's purely positional, it may not require investigation or treatment, but weakness of muscles would & such damage is to be avoided. An orthopedic specialist or a neurologist should be consulted as needed, though
