If some one have an ectopic beat. which is blocked beat or blocked pac many times a day but some times this blocked pac followed by a sinus arrest. in this case, did the patient need a medications or just reassuring with good life habits?

Nonconducted PACs are ones that occur so early after the previous beat that the ventricles are still refractory&there will not be a contraction& thus no QRS complex. Also the P wave may look different from the normal sinus P wave. The ectopic premature beat causes a reset of the sinus node( post ectopic depression). I'm not sure you're seeing true sinus node arrest which is due to damage.See cardi
