Cervical lymph node enlargement during COVID might reflect secondary infections. COVID virus commonly proliferates in nasopharyngeal mucosa & secondary bacterial sinusitis can induce anterior cervical lymph node enlargement; as can dental infections. Lyme & Epstein-Barr (EBV) reactivations (cold sores) can be aroused by COVID. Swabs for viral DNA & for bacterial cultures can be diagnostic.
