Months ago small patch blisters 1.5ins top left buttock treated with antiseptic ointment. now have upper mid back spine pain tingling from there to under shoulder blade, shape of shingles band but blisters were never there. could this be shingles?

Those events are likely unrelated and current symptoms are not consistent with shingles because of no lesions. Post herpetic neuralgia may present the same but you must have a shingles breakout in the past in the same dermatome.
