I have this very loud wind sound in my left ear, started today, i had a nurse at work check my ears and they are completely clear, what could be causing it. i cant get rid of it and its starting to bother me. not dizzy, or in pain atm?

Most likely this is an abrupt onset of tinnitus. Associated loss of hearing or presence of vertigo would be concerning. Even without those accompanying symptoms, If the symptom persists, I recommend consulting an otolaryngologist for proper diagnosis,appropriate testing if deemed advisable, and treatment options.
