A member asked:

I was referred to a psychiatrist to help me with emotional distress i endured from others for my court case. can i also speak about another issue i need help with or should i assume no privacy and keep conversations to depression and anxiety only?

If you are involved in litigation or other legal issues, it may be problematic to express certain opinions or open up areas of previously undisclosed and seemingly unrelated items. You need to talk to your lawyer and obtain appropriate legal advice prior to seeking intervention in what you deem to be a personal area. Remember, "anything you say can be used against you!".
