If you are feeling it yourself then your description is confusing. Cervical nodes are generally only palpable with local infection or primarily diseased. Best to see your doc.

Malignancy can only be determined by examination of the tissue by a pathologist. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor.
