Yes, that is generally OK. If you're seeing the same doctor for both issues, they would be the best professionals to determine that. Cortisone shots are generally not given more often than 2-3 months apart in the same joint and up to 3-6 x/year altogether (depending on which specialists you ask). However, as there are side effects, you should make sure that all your doctors know about this.
