I ran over some blood from roadkill (possum) with my car. after i got out i went to wipe some dried blood off the tire and my hand came into contact with it. should i be worried about rabies or any other diseases? washed hands directly after contact?

No. Rabies virus is present in saliva and is most often transmitted by bites. Wild life, including bats, raccoons, skunks, foxes, coyotes, and bobcats, are the most important potential sources of infection for humans in US.
