A member asked:

I had ovarian cancer stage 2b six years ago. went through a partial hysterectomy, chemotherapy and radiation treatments. was declared in remission. just recently they found cancer in my liver and it is ovarian. my question is how is this possible?

Ovarian cancer is frequently spread via the bloodstream, and small metastatic lesions are not detectable, and may survive both chemotherapy and radiation. There are several types of current chemotherapy offered, so see your oncologist for up to date treatments.
