Yes, providing an acute condition, such as bronchitis or pneumonia was taken place at the time fibrosis was diagnosed. It is conceivable that mild fibrosis at baseline is not causing significant symptoms. Best to clarify would be through follow up with a pulmonary doc as repeat imaging and comparison with initial tests should rule in or out fibrosis.
