I need to taper off fioricet. i suffer from debilitating headaches and migraines and was taking care of my 32 yo daughter who had als. she passed nov.14th and my fioricet usage went way up. i took them about 25 yrs. ago and stopped on my own?

I agree that a very slow taper off your fioricet is the proper way to discontinue it. Since we don't know your current dose it's difficult to outline one. I recommend having your neurologist or a psychiatrist supervise your tapering schedule.

Agree, taper off and stop Fioricef ASAP as use will Make headaches worse and more frequent. Better medicine exists. Find a neurological doc.
