Dosing is based on the amount of drug needed in the blood to produce desired effect. A drug half life is the time for 1/2 to be lost from the body. Taking all 3 at once can achieve a higher than needed amount but it goes down to a low level too soon, decreasing effectiveness. Taking this drug about every 6=9 hours allows a pattern overlap that maintains a consistent drug amount and effectiveness.
