Carefully and only if so prescribed as therapy should be tightly monitored, they are both sedating and while some sedation may help for pain, too much will be detrimental.

Both medications can cause sedation and drowsiness, and sometimes also result in dizziness and imbalance. The two together would magnify side effects. This could make it dangerous to drive, perform activities at heights, and operate power equipment. Discuss this with your treating doctor.
