Tick bites: This depends on the tick. There are many different species. Very few ticks carry disease, and those that do may carry different pathogens. If your fiance becomes symptomatic in any way besides what you have described, he should go and see a doctor and tell him what has happened. In your area the major issues are not lyme, but anaplasma and other similar organisms.
