At age 22, it is not uncommon to have palpitations occur in response to anxiety and vice versa - Anxiety occur in response to Palpitations or Tachycardia (Fast heart rate). Coffee, Exercise, Fear... can cause the heart to beat faster. If symptoms persist, see PCP or Stop by Urgent Care for Evaluation and possible EKG.
