Got tickly cough & pain in far left of chest when i cough, coughing up lots of clear or white mucus several covid tests negative any idea what it might be & do i need to see my gp?

Did these symptoms follow a recent head cold? If so they may be caused by mild bronchitis. If you're experiencing a sharp pain in the chest with a deep breath, a pinched rib cage nerve may be the cause, but if there's associated chills,sweats,fever, pleurisy &/or pneumonia would be a concern & a chest xray advisable. See your GP for evaluation & advice.

I have covid & recovering at home, I'm taking mucus medication to loosen the mucus but now that it's loosen it seems to make my chest tight until I cough, however it doesn't allow me to spit it out as it just stay in my throat. Should I be worried?
