I am currently 18 weeks pregnant, and we have popcorn ceilings in the house. one of the children thought is was funny to rub the dust from the popcorn ceiling on my arm. i have also heard that popcorn ceiling is toxic. should me and my baby be okay?

The toxic asbestos in some popcorn ceilings many years ago has been removed from more recent products. You could have yours tested. If the ceiling was painted at any time after application, it is less of a risk as paint locks it down. At that point it would be more of a risk to those who work to remodel & strip the ceiling but not for those who live
