First, it's rare to have this condition at you age. By UPTODATE: "pityriasis rosea is an ACUTE, SELF-LIMITED, exanthematous skin disease characterized by the appearance of slightly inflammatory, oval, papulosquamous lesions on the trunk and proximal areas of the extremities. Relapse after resolution is UNCOMMON". You may need skin biopsy just to make sure this is the case with another skin doctor.
