A member asked:

I play a good bit of video games & lately my right arm has been hurting near the elbow with the pain radiating to my shoulder & down to my forearm with my fingers feeling tingly.... could it be carpal tunnel from playing video games?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Carpal tunnel syndrome is possible, but so are lateral and medial epicondylitis, also known as tennis elbow and golfer’s elbow. Try to limit your video play, apply ice packs (10 min on/off) with ice in a plastic bag wrapped in a towel, consider ibuprofen if you have no reason not to take it. If pain persists, see your doctor.
