Thorough evaluation: A thorough physical examination is a place to start. Other tests could include a nerve conduction study, spinal imaging of various shorts, and analysis of your activity. There are many postural and activity issues that can cause The problems you are describing. You are correct in that it could involve any of the areas you mentioned. The tests will help determine the origin.

Finger tingling: Finger tingling can be caused by central nervous system causes, peripheral nerve problems anywhere along the brachial plexus, peripheral neuropathy caused by diseases, drugs, toxins, and nutritional deficiencies, and other problems. What seems like a simple problem must be completely evaluated with a careful history, physical exam, lab and imaging tests. Nerve conduction tests EMG also.
