I have a surgery in 4 days for a revision to my gastric sleeve surgery. im feeling like im fighting a very mild cold. is there something i can take to not interfere with me having the surgery? also would getting an iv vitamin infusion be ok?

This issue should be immediately reported to your physician and staff. It may not be prudent to continue with your planned surgery at this time. Better to be safe than sorry.

If you have a cold within 4 days of getting ready to have anesthesia, you should talk with yoursurgeon or your anesthesiologist. It is likely that you could possibly use acetaminophen, but it would be up to those doctors whether you should proceed or not. A vitamin infusion is not likely to help in any way. Good luck.
