My ferritin is 4.4, iron 26, vitamin d 17, i have hemolysis and target cells. i struggle to walk and heart beats fast. is this an emergency? should i get iron infusions? or iron tablets?

Your clinical situation cannot be assessed with just these lab values. If you have analysis, the key question is why do you have it, and how low is your hemoglobin and hematocrit? What are you needing transfusions, iron, or some therapy for your hemolysis would be up to your Hematologist. Good luck.
