In october of 2012 i had an endometrial ablation. i have had a 5 to 8 day menstrual cycle every month since. is this normal?

Yes and No: Endometrial ablation treatment is a procedure to destroy the lining of the uterus so that bleeding is stopped. If all the lining is destroyed then you should not bleed. The bleeding means that you still a functional lining. If your periods are now normal then perhaps you need not worry. Best wishes.
