In the absence of urinary incontinence, transient confusion or tongue biting I doubt you had a seizure during sleep. I'd chalk it up to a vivid dream followed by anxiety state. However if you still have concerns or experience another such episode, consult a neurologist for evaluation and advice.

Your description is inconsistent with an epileptic episode but the visual flashes might be associated with migraine. If this recurs, let your doctor evaluate this, but at this point, do not believe you experienced a true seizure. Vivid nightmares may be associated with narcolepsy if you have spells of daytime sleepiness.
