Yes, the MRI is still abnormal after 5 days of the diagnosis of encephalitis by CT scan.

An MRI is far superior to a CT scan for brain tissue imaging. Signs of encephalitis would be far better visualized. Not clear from your post whether you wish further analysis of your prior infection. If this is correct a virtual consult at HT might be quite useful (www.connect@healthtap.com)
