Doc says i have numerous gallstones .. i also have symptoms of an ulcer .... on and off dull pain in upper stomach etc. ... any sure way to decipher which is causing pain ...on sucraflate / famotidine 2-weeks and still pain off and on ... i am 72?

If pain occurs after a meal along with nausea/vomit, biliary colic (gallstone pain) is more likely. Furthermore, after 2 weeks of Famotidine and Sucralfate the stomach (?) pain due to ulcer should improve.
