Unlikely you were infected, especially if no symptoms of genital herpes. But 30% of people with HSV1 have negative blood tests; and in India, up to 90% of people have HSV1, usually acquired in childhood. If that includes you, then you are immune to a new infection with HSV1. Regardless of your 2nd indeterminant test, if no penile sores etc, you can be sure you don't have genital HSV1.
