I am 19 years old, have been having persistent cough for a month now after going through influenza. tested for ige 2047 iu/ml in the first test,1896 iu/ml in the second. no eczema, no rash, no other symptoms of allergy whatsoever. what might it be?

There are many causes of an extremely high IgE. If you have sputum production, a sample may be analyzed for fungi. A chest image and pulmonary function testing may be indicated. An allergic reaction to Aspergillus, ABPA should be considered.
