A member asked:

How does foreskin (being uncircumsized) make you more susceptible to hiv infection?

It is known that uncircumcised men are more susceptible to HIV than circumcised men. More area of attachment for virus, and blood to cling to. Also true for STD'S. Still not too late for a circumcision, for better health benefits.

The inside of the foreskin is loaded with cells of the types most susceptible to HIV. Being uncircumcised also prolongs exposure to partners' genital fluids under the foreskin. However, for most men in the US the elevated risk of HIV is tiny and not a good reason for circumcision except for some at particularly high risk of HIV, e.g. men having anal sex with other men.

This is very controversial despite labored explanations both circumcised and non circumcised men get infected when exposed. So it does not make any difference
