I just had an ankle sprain that was by a doriflexion. it was classified as a high sprain and was mainly focused in the inside of my ankle. i am fully recovered besides a popping in my ankle. could this be my ankle dislocating?

You, you can't recover your ankle function if it is dislocated.

High ankle sprain by definition is a sprain to the anterior tibia-fibula ligament and possible Syndesmosis. Separation. These injuries require 4 weeks minimum in a cast immobilized. Any less of treat can produce laxity to the joint. Exam is only way to make a determination and diagnosis.
