Rest.: When you sprained your ankle, did you follow your Doctor's instructions about waiting to bear weight and work out? Even if you're in great shape, when a muscle, ligament, tendon is sprained, it can take several months before they are back to 100%. If you push too much too soon, you can decrease the actual healing that happen. Ease off the work outs and see your Doctor.

Ask dr or PT: Ask your sports medicine doctor, orthopedic doctor, or physical therapist to make sure you have perfect firm when you are doing the exercise that is hurting your ankle.
