A member asked:

Injured two tendons in my right pinky finger last week while making a jack-o-lantern. hand dr's pa says i have to have them surgically repaired tomorrow morning and they will probably use twilight anesthesia. how does twilight work? am very scared?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do not be scared. keep your appointment to make sure that you retain full function in your hand. You will not feel pain. You will not remember the procedure. Let me reiterate to not avoid the surgery because of your fear of pain. You will not feel pain during the procedure. Wish you good health!
