A member asked:

Sudden double vision in one eye . clear brain scan to rule out clots . eye doctor said refractive error or migraine as chronic sufferer . is it unusual to still have double vision days later and can refractive error happen suddenly ? still concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

This is unusual but not unheard of, I would get corneal topography to rule out irregular astigmatism, which can cause this, if ok then accept refractive correction.
