Keep trying: Getting pregnant can taking different lengths of time each time around. If your partners is also in his 20's, and you were able to get pregnant naturally before, the odds are in your favor that you'll become pregnant within 12-18 months of trying regularly. If your periods are irregular, or you or your partner have had any major medical issues since the last pregnancy, then see your ob/gyn.

The specifics: The cited average is 6 mo of trying before a desired pregnancy. If you try for a year or more without luck, it may be time for you and partner to be evaluated at a fertility center. Check with your local doc to see what is available. Having had a successful pregnancy does rule out some issues but both you and your partner may have developed a problem since.
