My alt reading was 82 ul a few months ago unfortunately i've been struggling to quit drinking. i'm scared i messed up my liver. i'm scared i have ascites cause stomach is hard my weight stays the same but never gain. i was told i had mild fatty liver?

You don't have much choice but to totally abstain from alcohol and be evaluated and followed by a hepatologist or a gastroenterologist for best care. Appropriate testing will be ordered.

You might need to start with asking your doc for help to stop drinking alcohol, your anxiety is exacerbated by alcohol use. Once that is controlled, your liver situation will improve, liver enzymes typically normalize.

Half the battle is recognizing your problem so you are already halfway there!. your abdominal symptoms are not from ascites. Pl see a ggod doc or go to an alcohol addiction clinic and they will treat you and you will recover. good luck
