Best to run this question through would be your surgical team. The main point would be to provide a reason for why you need to smoke weed. Is there a symptom, such as nausea expected to improve, is it overall well being? The less being used in postsurgical period, the better, allowing the body to heal first. Many states are now allowing use of medical marijuana in specific circumstances.

No. Marijuana is a psychoactive drug and will mess with your brain and damage your lungs. MJ users are called stoners for good reason. Quit using it while you are ahead. Wish you good health!
