Marijuana/surgery: Aside from being illegal in most states, there is nothing known negative about when one uses it. Smoking anything is not positive for your health. After a surgical abortion, the emotions are heightened for many reasons, including the rapid drop in hormone levels from the pregnant state. Using marijuana can accentuate reactions to your emotional condition, but will not affect your surgery outcome
