A member asked:

I have a swollen lymph node below my ear that fluctuates in size throughout the day. it seems to shrink the most when i walk on the treadmill, then get bigger again later. i've had it several months. ct scan/bloodwork normal. what could cause this?

Any inflammation, including dandruff can cause lymph node to enlarge. You may feel the nodes every couple of weeks, if any of the lymph glands doubles in size, becomes painful, ulcerates, or other nodes become enlarged, or you develop fever, or lose weight, you should see a doctor. Wish you good health!
