Les acaraphobes: "morgellon's disease" is delusional parasitosis, with the addition of delusion beliefs of inanimate objects in the lesion (e.g. Colored strings or fibers). Today the term "morgellons disease" is used by a community of internet folks who believe delusional parasitosis is a poorly understood "skin condition" & they dispute presence of an underlying psychological factor.
