It is medical : Anxiety is a true brain based disorder that is real and affects many parts of the brain and your sensation of fear. Get real treatment and see a psychiatrist.

It's physical: Anxiety is processed in the body with real physical symptoms such as chest tightness, difficulty catching one's breath and nausea. This makes someone feel like they are having a disease. Anxiety also causes excessive worry, so normal physical feelings, like everyday aches and pains, are thought to be serious illness like cancer. If you have excessive anxiety, a mental health professional can help.

See a therapist: Many symptoms real or not, serious or not are amplified by anxiety. Seeing a therapist can only help one separate the minor from major or real from unreal. Best of luck!
