I am a strong advocate for vaccines that are well studied and deal with diseases that are hard on kids. Unless a kid has a chronic illness/is immune impaired, I don't see Covid as a risky issue for them. Reports estimate over 80% have had it, most without symptoms. Until we have longer studies of the side effects/benefits I am reluctant to use it in healthy infants or young kids.

I strongly disagree with not recommending COVID-19 vaccines for all children for which it is approved. So, unless there is a medical contraindication(and there are not many),EVERYONE 6 months and older should have the COVID-19 vaccine! It is given to protect the individual but also those around the individual who may be elderly, immunocompromised, or otherwise more susceptible to serious illness!
