Since one dose offers partial protection and your mom requires blood thinners, please discuss the pros and cons of delaying with your PCP. There have been reports of clotting and bleeding disorders associated with some COVID 19 vaccinations. Mixing types of COVID 19 vaccinations is under study, and thus far appears to be effective but associated with more side effects in the short term.
