A member asked:

Hi, could a primary cytomegalovirus infection cause persistent (months long) bilateral anterior cervical lymphadenopathy in an immunocompetent 23 year old? is it possible that a covid-19 infection could cause this? thank you?

Lymphadenopathy can definitely last months with either of these infections, and with many other viral infections. Part of this depends on how long the acute illness lasted and the size the baseline lymph nodes were. Continue to follow-up with your doctor if they persist to be sure nothing more serious is going on.
