Sharp stinging pain right upper parietal area. pain started 36 hours ago with a scale of 4/10. now 7/10. not painful to touch at beginning but now very painful to touch. painkillers do not help. pain triggered periodically but more frequently now?

Likely, you have trigeminal neuralgia & the first branch is affected. I am not sure what painkiller you have used but if you use ibuprofen (advil, motrin, et) OTC you should take 200 mg x 3 or 4 tablets at one time with a full stomach every 6-8 hours as needed for a couple days.Usually the neuralgia is self limited for just a couple days. If not, see you doctor for an additive med for nerve pain.
