Return to doc: While painful headches with vomiting are usually migraine headaches and are treated with a variety of different medication, as with most things, if the meds are not working - its important to tell the doctor. What it could be is a diagnostic question which might require further testing. Sometimes pain medicatiosn just mask a problem - it is not a substitute for careful and thorough diagnosis.
