I had a helllers myotomy 8wks ago. the last 2wks after eating dinner at 6pm i get severe gas pain and diarrhoea lasting 12-18hrs keeping me up all night. what could be the cause and how can i fix it please. i have no allergies and no pattern to food?

This procedure should not cause diarrhea'. Stop solid food and drink small amounts of fluids frequently. call your surgeon and let her/him know. It might be from eating something which caused GI irritation/ infection. Hope you feel better
