A member asked:

I'm planning on having a simple bilateral orchiectomy as part of male to eunuch transition. it would be a waste if the testicles are sent straight for medical disposal. is it possible to donate them for medical student/urology resident education?

In the US most hospitals have a strict policy that all tissues removed from a patient be sent to the pathology department for testing. There are also ample specimens available for students from donated cadavers to meet their needs. You can ask your surgeon about policies in your country.

You can try asking any academic medical college if they will accept them.
